Our Chilren
Meet Our Snowflakes

Welcome to our Winter Wonderland Wedding...
but first... getting to know each other... than our engagement

At Cunningham Falls State Park in Frederick County, Maryland our adventure took an unexpected turn when a severe thunderstorm rolled in just as we reached the top. We dashed down the mountain, soaked to the skin, leaping over streams and slipping on rocks, until we found refuge on a wooden footbridge as the storm finally eased. Laughter filled the air as we worried about smeared makeup and muddy shoes. Amidst the chaos, Mike gently pulled Norma close and with a sweet kiss, reminding us that even in our worst moments, love shines through.

We were warmly welcomed to the Jazz Club at the top of the Belvedere Hotel in Baltimore, MD, we arrived to find Mike, our gentlemanly friend from Westchester County, waiting at the door. The hotel exudes luxury, with stunning chandeliers, marble floors, and rich velvet walls that set the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening. Ascending to the 13th Floor, we were greeted by breathtaking panoramic views and an atmosphere that truly elevates the jazz experience. Our first dance, his first experience at a Jazz Club and my first time drinking a Cosmopolitan.

Our first kiss caught on
camera that day!

Our engagement was a true surprise to me. We drove to Orlando to meet up with friends. At that time we were given tickets to the Sherlock Holmes Dinner Theater. Everyone wore 'period appropriate dress; The mystery play was cute. Then prior to the end Sherlock came onto the stage and asked the audience if they had any questions he could answer as far as clues to the killer. A few people in the audience asked questions and then Michael put his hand up. and said "I have a question but it's not for you. It's for this lovely lady sitting here." With that he got on one knee and showed me a diamond ring and sweetly asked me "Norma Jean would you please honor me with accepting my proposal to have you share the rest of what I promise will be a wonderful life? With a joyful heart I replied "Yes of course I will"

We arrived to the ceremony on time...

We said I will and I do

We walked across the st5ret to the John Lennon Park

We say our good-bye to Strawberry Fields and walk to the Dakota
Our first kiss caught on camera that day!

Professional photographers were here for other couples. We just happened to be one of only a few couples dressed in wedding attire. And we were happy, having a good time enjoying the day and the snowfall

It was the anniversary of John Lennon's murder and Manhattan had invited engaged couples to have their ceremony inside The New York City Marriage Bureau, After the ceremony we were excorted to the John Lennon Memorial Park or Strawberry Fields. After a brief photography session we walked to the Dakota Building (John and Yoko's residence) for another photo to be taken. This is the sketch of us just outside the Dakota brownstone where John Lennon was gunned down on December 8. Yes, it may sound strange to some... But for Michael and Norma Jean it had a special meaning.

Thank You For Sharing Our Memories

Our Honeymoon was planned for one week at the Westgate Resort in Orlando. The agenda was to spend a day at Universal Studios with dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe just so we could get the Hurricane and the Cordial glasses that we collect. The next day we drove to St. Augustine and toured the Castillo de San Marcos then continued our drive up the coast to Daytona Beach. There was so much to do there that we spent the night and discovered what 'Alligator' tasted like. It tastes just like chicken tenders. We took a moonlight stroll on the beach before returning to Orlando. For the rest of our week activities we stayed at the resort since it had everything. A cockail bar at the pool, a miniature golf course, a theater, a sports bar and a marketplace that we could purchase items to keep in our room. Our room also had a jacuzzi and a complimentary bottle of champagne. Relaxing and delicious!

There are few things more romantic than being seranaded by the one who loves you... and you love in return. Michael is very romantic. He can recall so many details of our times together. The clothes she was wearing, the places they visited and the people Norma Jean introduced him to. This song was made famous by Elvis Presley. It is a song which Michael sang to Norma Jean when they visited Las Vegas. He surprised her with a Rose at the airport when he was taking a flight back to Baltimore. Right there in front of all the other passengers, and Norma's sister, Shirley and brother-in-law Patrick. Here are the lyrics:
Can't Help Falling in Love
Wise men say
Only fools rush in
But I can't help falling in love with you
Shall I stay?
Would it be a sin
If I can't help falling in love with you?
… Like a river flows
Surely to the sea
Darling, so it goes
Some things are meant to be
… Take my hand
Take my whole life, too
For I can't help falling in love with you
… Like a river flows
Surely to the sea
Darling, so it goes
Some things are meant to be
… Take my hand
Take my whole life, too
For I can't help falling in love with you
For I can't help falling in love with you
