





CLARA (ANNA) SCANLON
August 12, 1931 ~ November 24, 2010

Clara Scanlon, "Ann", 79, a resident of Glen Burnie and previously of Pasadena and Florida, died November 24 at Howard County Hospital.
She was born Aug. 12, 1931, in Baltimore, and graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1948. She also attended Strayers Business School. She was the owner and operator of Ann's Snoballs in Pasadena from 1980 to 1993.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Linthicum and Glen Burnie for 50 years. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida, shopping, and playing jigsaw puzzles and games.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, Leo F. Scanlon Jr., who died in 1991; and several brothers and sisters. Also, by her neice Kellie Hogan Cole, November 2007
She is survived by two children, Brenda Williams of Glen Burnie and Keith H. Williams of Jessup; two sisters, Margaret (Bertha) Barton of Glen Burnie and Dorothy Burkhead of Salisbury; two grandsons, Jeremy and Jason Williams; two great-grandchildren; and many neices and nephews that held her in great regard.
